IN HEAVEN To Release Internet-Only Single In July

June 2, 2007

Greek female-fronted gothic metal band IN HEAVEN has issued the following update:

"We are [proud] to announce the release [of] our first CD single entitled 'Lovesong'. This one is going to be a web-only release so all of you can download for free (among the artwork) or request from our address (printed release) which will be posted later this month. This release is going to include our tribute to THE CURE song and some other goodies too! Release date is set the 15th of July.

"We feel proud to announce that [the] artwork [to our upcoming second] full-lenght album, 'City of Lost Angels', is going to be made by Stamatis Kritikos. Stamatis is responsible for the artwork of DOL AMMAD's 'Star Tales' and Manolis' [guitarist Manolis Varouhas] side project: 5 STIGMATA'Dead Dreams'! You can find out more about the artist here: www.stamatiskritikos.com."

IN HEAVEN guitarist Manolis Varouhas previously stated about the band: "Our music is based on atmospheric metal with heavy guitars and keyboards. The addition of female vocals and the dark lyrics make (we believe so at least) our music so difficult to categorize with one or two words, but I think that 'atmospheric gothic metal' is the best way to call our music!"
